HuntLyte was born out of necessity; a necessity for a lighter, safer, more comfortable hunting saddle.

Through over a decade and a half of mountaineering, rock and ice climbing experience we have spent countless hours hanging in uncomfortable harnesses. Our design is completely revolutionary to the saddle hunting industry, taking into consideration two separate “systems,” structure/suspension and safety.

The structure/suspension of our saddle is designed to allow all of the pressure to be placed directly on the buttocks. Whereas the safety system is designed to fall over the hunter’s iliac crest ensuring the hunter will not fall out in the event of an inversion. Separating the two systems and tying them together in one single panel saddle allows for less hip pinch if not mitigating the issue altogether.

This issue is important to all saddle hunters to increase the length of the sit and was of utmost importance for our CEO. Finding the solution to hip pinch started as a personal issue; having one artificial hip, the second one scheduled and lower back issues lent itself to be a benefit. We were able to find a solution that met our needs and are confident it will meet yours.
